I’ve been doing this for years & it’s helped me catch companies sneakily selling my data. If you live in an apartment building it’s probably best to leave your last name on the package so it doesn’t get lost. In those instances I’ll just add a code after my first name. For example, if I’m ordering pet food, I’ll be Cathy (pet) Pedrayes or if it was Amazon I could put (AMZ). 🚘 NHTSA currently only requires car manufacturers to test on 40-50 yr old crash test dummies which were designed based on the male body.
