I much prefer to have my non-WiFi baby monitor but having my AirPods and using this baby monitor hack is a good substitute! All you have to do is have your phone and your AirPods and switch it to active listen mode and bam, you’ve got a sound-only baby monitor! Let me know if you want me to post a video of instructions of how to do it! Now before you think I’m running off far while my kids are napping in the hotel room, we’re not doing that here. 🙅♀️ my rule is that on vacation if the kids are napping I have to be able to see the door. So whether I’m on the balcony, connecting room, back garden, etc. I have to see the door to their room. ☀️ Follow for baby & toddler travel tips ✈️
Replying to @erincler5 this genius cruise hack saved our cruise with my little kids! All you need are magnetic hooks and blackout curtains! I took the one from the kids room which are my fav Sleepout blackout curtains (discount code: BRIGGS) and made their own little “room” in our cruise cabin! #travelhack #momhack #toddler #cruise #familycruise #cruisewithkids

Here’s how to know if you’re a type A, B or C mom at the airport 👇 ✈️ Type A Mom – The Planner Vibe: Military precision. Nothing is left to chance. At the airport: • Arrives 3 hours early, even for domestic. • Everyone has matching travel outfits and color-coded packing cubes. • Documents? Already printed and in labeled folders. • Snacks are organic, non-messy, and pre-portioned. • Kids are given laminated itineraries with “quiet time” built in. Quote: “If we leave at 5:12 a.m., we’ll hit TSA PreCheck right before the shift change and avoid the line.” 🧳 Type B Mom – The Chill One Vibe: Go with the flow. Minimal stress, minimal plans. At the airport: • Shows up just in time to maybe make boarding. • Kids are in pajamas and carrying their own backpacks—one filled entirely with stuffies. • Forgot to check if there’s a car seat waiting at the destination, but we’ll figure it out. • Snacks? Bought whatever was at the Hudson News stand. • Doesn’t care about the seat assignment as long as no one is crying. Quote: “We’ll be fine. Worst case, we make a memory.” 🎒 Type C Mom Vibe: A mix of trying to be prepared but also embracing the chaos. At the airport: • Meant to leave early but got distracted finishing a cute DIY activity kit for the plane. • Brought way too many snacks and forgot diapers. • Has anxiety about bothering other passengers but also lets her toddler run laps at the gate. • Tries to stay calm but low-key spiraling inside when things go wrong. Quote: “I tried to be Type A but the baby dumped applesauce in my bag and now we’re winging it.”

Replying to @Spooky$pice okay a little context on that video 😅 we were in the water for about 10 mins watching these rays and my kids were so fascinated by them! When I pulled my phone out to film just her next to the ray I think because it “snuck up” on her is what startled her. But she truly was great with them in the water up until that point. ❤️
