Enchilada sauce (red) recipe: Truthfully-I don’t measure these seasonings lol but this is probably close to what I use! Ingredients: •6 tablespoon olive oil •6 tablespoon flour (any flour works) •2-3tablespoon ground chili powder •2 tbsp ground cumin •2 tbsp garlic powder •2 tbsp onion powder •2 teaspoons Italian seasoning (trust me lol) OR dried oregano if you prefer •4 tablespoon tomato paste •4 cup broth (any kind) •salt and pepper, to taste 1. Measure out all your seasonings in a bowl (including your flour). 2. Heat your oil in a pot, you know it’s ready when a sprinkle of flour sizzles. 3. Add your flour and spices to the hot oil and whisk for about a minute. Slowly add in your broth (I usually just add water and then a few tablespoons of better than bouillon) and whisk. Add in your tomato paste and continue to whisk. 4. Bring your mixture to a boil and then reduce heat, let it simmer for about 5 mins or so. It will continue to thicken off the heat. 5. Season to taste with salt and pepper! Pour over your favorite enchiladas and bake at 350 for about 20-30 mins! Notes on enchiladas below: For enchiladas, any meat works. I usually shred a couple rotisserie chickens and make two trays! For tortillas, traditionally corn tortillas are used BUT we prefer flour tortillas (I like them kind of soft). I add a bit of the sauce at the bottom of my Pyrex pan, add chicken, cheese and a bit of sauce to the inside of the tortilla, roll it up and place in the pan. Then I drench them in sauce and top with cheese!
I had a lot of questions about this plate so I’ll answer them below😂🫶🏻 1. I don’t clean off the plate-I just add more! There’s some great advice in my previous post though about how to clean the plates❤️ 2. This is for pure fun, I love the nostalgia behind candle plates (and all decor for that matter). I’m not casting spells as some people have accused me of doing 🤭🫣 3. Please please please use caution when burning candles! This goes for all candles! Always blow out candles once they’ve burned 75% of the candle and start a new candle or toss it. Also-never burn a candle more than a hour (I always do even less than this). Don’t leave them unattended, don’t burn them near curtains or hanging objects, near blankets, or anything that can catch fire. I feel comfortable burning tapers on my tile counters while cooking. 4. All my tapers are unscented-don’t cook near scented candles lol those are for the bathroom in my opinion! Food can absorb scents 5. Candle plates are an acquired taste-I totally understand if you hate it😂 my husband doesn’t love it either hahah 6. Candlestick is a great company to buy from!!! They’re a small family owned business from Woodstock NY! As always, it’s a pleasure having you here sharing fun things together, I look forward to doing many more fun crafts with you guys🫶🏻✨❤️
How to make solid perfume: Beeswax pellets Jojoba oil Vitamin e oil (optional) The ratio is usually 1/2 beeswax and 1/2 oil, for one batch I tested out adding vitamin e oil and it worked great, it was a bit softer but still very solid! (The amount you use will depend on the size of your containers) 4 tbsp beeswax 4 tbsp jojoba oil 1 tbsp vitamin e oil (optional) 10 drop of essential oil per tablespoon (so 90 drops of essential oil-I usually just guess lol) Use a double broiler so your pots don’t smell like fragrances! Add some water to a pot (don’t let the water touch your double broiler) and bring water to a boil. Melt the beeswax, jojoba and vitamin e oil over medium heat. Measure out your essential oils so they’re ready. Once your beeswax, vitamin e and jojoba have melted together take off the heat and add your essential oils quickly! It will start to solidify very fast. Pour into your containers and that’s it! #solidperfume #diyprojects #crafts
Recipe below: Ingredients: Broccoli (1-2 heads) 1 red onion Potatoes (cut into small pieces) 2-3 chicken breasts cut into small pieces (if you have a smaller pan 2 is enough, you don’t want to overcrowd your meat) Buffalo hot sauce Honey Italian seasoning Onion powder Garlic powder Smoked paprika Salt Pepper Avocado oil Bread crumbs or panko 1.) Preheat oven to 400. Oil your pan with avocado oil (a large roasting pan is best but a baking sheet would work great too). Chop up broccoli, onions and potatoes and add to pan. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and Italian seasonings. Drizzle more avocado oil and stir. Bake in oven for about 10minutes 2.) while veggies are cooking, add your chicken to a bowl with smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper and breadcrumbs/panko (about a cup). Season to your liking, I don’t measure lol Add the chicken to your baking tray of veggies and bake another 20 minutes. 3.) in a small bowl, mix up buffalo sauce and honey. I like to do a ratio of mostly buffalo sauce and just a bit of honey. 4.) pour your sauce over the veggies and chicken and then broil for 2-3 minutes (watch it closely!!). If you can’t broil then bake another 5 minutes. I like to serve this with a side of homemade pickle chips, feta cheese, or some homemade romaine coleslaw.

Breakfast pie, quiche, frittata-whatever it is, everyone in my house loves it and it’s so easy. My toddler calls it pizza so that’s a win for me. Three main ingredients: -butter -6 eggs -1 cup milk (any kind) Extras: you can add really anything you like, bacon, jalapeños, sausage, spinach, broccolis, zucchini, tomatoes etc. Preheat oven to 375 and generously butter your pie dish Whisk eggs and milk, then add all your extras! I love adding salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder! Pour into your dish. Bake for 20-30 minutes. Check at 20 and then you can continue to increase the time by a few minutes checking it to make sure that it doesn’t burn.
