That said, I think the bleeding tissue paper actually makes a really cool effect. It’s just different! And as I mentioned, I typically have done this on canvas, but the book worked great. Just don’t drench it with water. And because I know some of you are going to question why not glue first, you get a smoother finish starting with water. Plus you can move stuff around if you don’t like the placement and get it just like you want it before gluing. This was an art experiment that we thought would use watercolor in the tube but actually worked a lot better with fluid acrylics.
